Core Values
Values and beliefs are a set of principles that resonate best with the way you feel and behave, what you want to achieve and the motivation behind those values — core values are your fundamental beliefs.
To set your values ask yourself the following questions:
Why do you want to be the person you think you should become?
Why are the things you think are important for you to feel fulfilled?
Are my values aligned to who I really am?
What has influenced my values this far? Over-pushing and over-critical parents? Absence of parents’ guidance? Adverse childhood events?
What would make me happy as a person, a human being at the centre of my environment — the friends I choose and the actions I take on a daily basis?
To get a sense of what your values may be, it can be helpful to review a list of core values for ideas. Choose from the list below to set your values.
